Mary Lucus-Flannery, BA, DC is a chiropractor, an educator, a professional storyteller and a chiropractic marketer. Mary came into chiropractic with a background in writing and communication. After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2000, she practiced in Wisconsin and Iowa, but then she made an unusual choice to leave private practice and to serve the profession by working in chiropractic education. Mary is currently the Dean of Enrollment at Life Chiropractic College West where she has lead the enrollment and marketing teams to substantial growth.
Mary is obsessed with helping chiropractors learn the art of communication and to better connect with patients. Mary focuses on storytelling as the ideal innate form of communication which touches people’s hearts and minds and allows shift to occur. Mary is a professional speaker who has traveled globally teaching public speaking, storytelling and millennial communications. Mary lives in Oakland, CA and has three teenage kids who help her keep up with modern digital communication tactics and strategies.
