Drs. Lynn Gerner, DC, FICPA & Andrew Dorough, DC, CACCP

Dr. Lynn Gerner, DC, FICPA, is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West in 2004 and has been in private practice since that time; focused on pediatric care and breastfeeding support. She earned her FICPA In 2004, is a trained doula, and earned her CLEC (Certified Lactation Educator Counselor) in 2021. She founded the Good Life Learning, LLC (a professional education company) in 2019 to help spread the word about the benefit of the Chiropractic adjustment in connection with feeding dysfunction and oral restrictions. In this new and emerging specialty field, she also recognized the need for advanced training for the Chiropractor as well. She currently teaches privately as well as through Life Chiropractic College West, Northeastern Chiropractic College, Gold Lactation Learning, and the ICPA. Dr. Gerner is a wife, mother of 3 adult children, and lives in Davis, CA with her family and rescued dogs. Beyond her professional work, her other passions are traveling the world whenever possible and (sometimes at the same time) cycling.

Dr. Andrew Dorough, DC, CACCP, is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He later earned his CACCP certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association after being inspired by many other instructors in the ICPA.

Dr. Dorough is passionate about serving families, pregnant women, and children. However, his special interest lies in caring for infants who have birth stress, strain, and trauma. He’s had the pleasure of caring for these “little blessings” while working at a family breastfeeding medicine clinic since 2016. There, he serves patients alongside a medical doctor, nurse practitioner and multiple nurse IBCLCs. Dr. Dorough also enjoys sharing his experience through instructing with several organizations on a local, regional and nation level, including GOLD Learning. He enjoys collaborating with medical professionals about infant wellbeing and how to best serve families in our country.

In his personal time, Dr. Dorough loves outdoor adventures of every kind with his wife and daughter. They enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping together.
