Perinatal Care with Optional Webster Certification

Course Description:

Techniques, case management and evidence based practice for the perinatal period. Hands on demonstrations and application of specific adjusting techniques in pregnancy with biomechanics of the female pelvis. Common disorders in pregnancy and the chiropractic co-management with other birth care providers. Safety, effectiveness and contraindications. Informed based practice relating to perinatal care and birth outcome for the mother. Causes of dystocia: physiological/ neuro-biomechanical, emotional and medical/ technological and the chiropractic solution to these causes.

Optional: Webster Technique Certification $45 fee additional for certification paid at seminar. This is a stand-alone seminar; enrollment in the Pediatric Certification program is not necessary.  ICPA membership is required to receive Webster Certification. Join here.
