Province of Onatario: CCO Council has chosen not to accredit programs/courses at this time. Members should select courses based on their self assessments, peer and practice assessments, and professional interests. The CE program is largely self directed and members are free to take courses relevant to their practice, consistent with CCO CE guidelines, which can be found at the following link: http://www.cco.on.ca/site_documents/Professional%20Portfolio%20Handbook.pdf.
Although as previously stated CCO is not formally recognizing or approving courses, so there is no formal approval process; however, CCO has informed members that have inquired that they may count the hours attended at this program towards their structured continuing education hours.
License Renewal Fees: $35 per state voucher with check payable to ICPA at time of class. If approvals are not yet posted for a particular location, please call your state board for updates.
It is the responsibility of the attending doctor to be aware of the continuing education rules and regulations of the state(s) in which he/she is licensed, including what topics are acceptable for continuing education/license renewal credit.
"Approved states" may, in some cases, refer to state boards of chiropractic education that do not require an application from ICPA because of our co-sponsorship with various colleges. Please check with your board for the latest continuing education information.
