In the state of Iowa, the Chiropractic Board of IA says that chiropractors must review the Boards Administrative Rules on Continuing Education, Chapter 44 which is the whole Chapter 44 on Continuing Education in state of IA. The course must be applicable and fall under the guidelines of Chapter 44.

In the state of Indiana, the Chiropractic Board of IN states to refer to their website Indiana Chiropractic Board website for the list of rules for approved CE seminars. Chiropractic approved seminars in Indiana are based on IC 25-1-4-0.3: ICPA is a national organization and therefore it is an automatically approved sponsor. ICPA is also co-sponsored with CCC-KS and CCC-LA and these chiropractic colleges are also approved under IC 25-1-4-0.2.

In the state of Nebraska, the Chiropractic Board of NE does not pre-approve courses. The Chiropractic Board of Nebraska suggests that doctors call them ahead of time and ask if a specific course is appropriate to take to receive CE credits.

In the state of Ohio, the Chiropractic Board of OH says that any chiropractors looking for continuing education credits for a seminar outside the state of Ohio can receive up to 12 hours of CE credits from Category 3, must be health care related and enhance professional competency.

License Renewal Notes:
License Renewal Voucher Fees are an additional $35 per state or province.
If approvals are not yet posted for a particular location, please call your state board for updates.
It is the responsibility of the attending doctor to be aware of the continuing education rules and regulations of the state(s) in which he/she is licensed, including what topics are acceptable for continuing education/license renewal credit.
"Approved states" may, in some cases, refer to state boards of chiropractic education that do not require an application from ICPA because of our co-sponsorship with various colleges. Please check with your board for the latest continuing education information.
