Community Outreach Programs:

It's springtime and a good time to get into the community with chiropractic. Here are two community outreach suggestions.

1- Backpack Safety Program Co-Sponsored by COCCSA, AirPacks and Office Depot.

Launched in 2002, the Congress of Chiropractic’s National Backpack Safety Program has all the elements of success including professionally produced materials, a backpack bully mascot with which students can identify, and corporate support from outside the chiropractic profession through AirPacks Inc., manufacturers of ergonomic backpacks, and Office Depot, one of the nation’s largest suppliers of stationary supplies to schools.

This program can be used throughout the year: once you purchase the program it is yours to keep and use as frequently as you want.

2- Children's Health Day International Sponsored by the WCA and Partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The WCA Children's Health Day International is about bringing health information to families in your neighborhood -- and introducing them to the benefits of chiropractic for ALL people, including children. This program can be used by individual offices and also includes options for you to collaborate with other like minded offices in your community!

National Advertising:

In addition to our current advertising in Mothering Magazine, Midwifery Today and Wellness Bound, the ICPA has just signed contracts with two national magazines: E-pregnancy and Pregnancy. We will be soon launching into Children's magazines as well.

We know from past experiences that these ads are very successful in bringing visitors to our membership on-line referral directory. For you, this means new patients coming to your office for the right reasons!

Training: ICPA Seminars:

Year One:

We have recently started our classes in Calgary, L. A., Montreal and Detroit.

New locations starting this fall are: NY/NJ, Dallas, Minneapolis, Hamburg and Toronto.

Expected locations starting Spring 2006 are St. Louis, London, San Francisco, Chicago.

Year Two:

Currently in Toronto and Dallas, we are planning to come to San Francisco and Atlanta this fall as well (schedule coming soon)

Year Three:

Currently in Montreal and Chicago, we are coming to Toronto and Dallas in the fall of 2005. (schedule coming soon)
